Our officers continued to take dangerous weapons off the streets last week (Aug. 12-18). They seized 12 firearms, arresting eight adults who now face 94 charges. One was on a release order on another firearm-related charge and another had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.

We are heartbroken to lose our service dog, Doc, who died peacefully on Tuesday after a battle with cancer. He served Toronto proudly alongside his handler, Sgt. Andrew Haynes. We send our condolences to Sgt. Haynes, our K9 Unit and all who loved him.
