More children should never mean less support. Two child limit: Simply Explained We’ve long campaigned to scrap the two-child limit, one of the biggest drivers of child poverty. From April 2026, it will be removed. A significant step forward, and proof that policy choices matter.

As the Timms Review of PIP begins, our Research Manager Rushaa Hamid warns disabled people won’t be affected equally by future changes. "We’re deeply concerned these reviews could be used as cover for cuts, while structural failures remain unaddressed." PIP is vital social infrastructure.
