If you can help then please do. It's always awful when an animal friend is suffering.

Toybox Soapbox @toyboxsoapbox.bsky.social · 9h

Done. Good luck. It's horrible when an animal friend goes through this. I hope they get sorted and are okay, and that you are okay.

but what if he's left it somewhere, he doesn't know where? Like round his mate's house. Hmmm?

For anyone wondering how big this toy is here it is next to the Titan Class Ark from Transformers.

Just that, one of the skids for the battle copter and one missile for the tiny sub.

It was Manta Force. A British toy line from back in the 1980s. 🙂

Also missing this red torpedo bit, no worries if you don't have a spare though. It just looks like he's fired it. 🤣

It did. They are all there in their little seats. It was about 95% complete.

Of course I bought it - I had to. Took it home, cleaned it up, put all the pieces back together & rum and am so happy to have it again. I adored it, & Manta Force, when I was a kid.You can see it in the background of a Christmas photo of me & my gran in 1980something. What a toy!

I know. I was stunned to see that intact. And all the canopies still there and attached. Almost all the parts are there. Just missing an arm of a robot, and one pair of wheels from the battle copter.

Toybox Soapbox @toyboxsoapbox.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I went through my bits and found the remaining missiles, though it's hard to remember exactly which shade of red missiles goes with the battle copter and not the barracuda. I just need an arm for this guy, and one of the grey skids for the battle copter. I am sure there must be junkers about!

Yeah it's a steal. Just watching @gavtrdq.bsky.social vid on it whilst putting it back together after a deep clean. I loved this toy when I was a kid, never really thought I'd get it again. Mostly because it's so big and I don't know where to put it. But this was too much of a bargain to pass on

Toybox Soapbox @toyboxsoapbox.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Ooooh! I might take you up on that! That's super kind of you. I am missing a couple of little bits, and am just checking through my tubs to see what bits I might have.

Yeah same. I was tempted then and had a good chat with the seller but the price was too high.
