we'll have more to say soon, we're still not 100% settled and there are loose ends to take care of, and new projects forming…we just have a lot to work through getting there

we have a lot of ideas about how to work with everything that happened, it kind of says a lot about the times we're all living through right now…we're licking our wounds and trying to pull ourselves and each other together, we've learned a lot about each other…in some ways it's optimistic, just hard

thanks to everyone's help a few months ago, we are actually settled in minneapolis now, we have a little apartment for ourselves again at last after everything we've been through, but it's like the full impact of it all has been tearing through us now that it's not an immediate nonstop emergency

just to chime in, i'm in the exact same boat as lily with all this 100%, she's putting it very well…we've been like filleted alive by everything that's happened over the past two years, on top of the heavy load both of us have always carried around, and we're kind of just hanging on for dear life rn

working up to dealing with social neuroses enough whenever we've had time off from dealing with the vicissitudes of being mentally ill and broke, keeping in touch with people i care about instead of just receding into private cosmos so hope nobody feels like i've ditched them, "keep an eye out"

i appreciate peoples patience with how confounding it all seems from disjointed irregular posts, it feels embarrassing to keep just posting and disappearing but i'm just holding out we can get there and have more to report, we're getting closer

we're getting closer and closer to having our lives back on track and still pushing through but i hope to have at least another 5 years of productivity after all this, we have lots of stuff we're doing i think will be genuinely exciting to work on if life can stop upending all other plans

after the last couple years i've been so drained and i know from the outside it's probably unclear what's all been going on but i hope to write some great 21st century picaresque novel still with all the episodes in flamboyant color.

beginning of the month we got hit with an overdraft fee from storage unit payment not going through, going to sell plasma in a bit to get some groceries but if anyone wants to send even 10 bucks it'd help us not wrack up further negative balance thank you

The first thing Lily's sharing is her wild work-in-progress new website she's been working on for quite a while (I helped out some by writing a static site generator for her to use and it's been really fun for me to see her make stuff with it) mega-hyper-alert-x68000.cicadamarionette.com/posts/2
