DNS is basically busted on the network I'm on, which has very odd DoH requirements. I'll release an image later tonight for rolodex and hopefully it will fix some things. I think everything else is probably in decent shape. Some more coming regarding jellyfin/plex/radarr/sonarr that I hope to show

new gfeh (Object Storage) coming. also install is trying to use rolodex for libvirt stuff instead of dnsmasq -- might be buggy at first but there's some cache seeding/sharing opportunities there once the vm and libvirt work together. probably still a few bugs around plex -- oauth once don't purge

town os gives you a trust model which is purely peer to peer. you only trust your friends if you want to. That's what I'm heading towards -- a fully peer to peer trusted cloud system that's easy to boot, consistent and lets you (safely) untrust roots.

trying to fix dns today sorry -- the good news is that DoQ DoT DoH are all first class supported. the DNSSEC roots validation leaves me with a lot of confident but also, rolodex publishes prometheus metrics now which I have been using to debug it with claude.

oh yeah my laptop got jacked too -- so building town os has cost me about $5000 or so and less than $1000 of it was on claude and I also have other broken hardware that is also quite expensive and an apartment I lost in a "hey, let's see what happens when alameda county gets involved" incident

new rolodex on the way verifies hard (as in prunes) roots that do not successfully verify DNSSEC. Also it exports prometheus metrics that are now used in town-os

japanese lang has started -- not finished yet but poke around for it. also the dns server got trained a little better on DNSSEC management. I'm going to push the patches but be aware I cannot test this on the berkeley visitor network which I am normally forced to use.
