For Touhou fans, cosplay and hijacks are a way to patch discontent with the world of Gensokyo. And as seen here and with other examples I’ve covered, this has been quite successful. Like Cao Fei, Touhou fans have built their own ecosystems wherever they are around the world.

In July 2022, @Kronington filmed himself in New York City in a Marisa cosplay for a Gensokyo Odyssey cutscene, but he found himself dissatisfied. In July 2023, he decided to contact the TSX-owned hotel for a one minute video of a Marisa cosplay clip and the game trailer.

There's not much rhyme or reason to the art stolen, the most recent was from March 2016 (www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/...). With the Flandre source dead, there’s not much to go off of. Presumably, this is another case of art stolen without much knowledge of Assassination Classroom itself.
