Growing up in Scotland: Billy Connolly is good but for me the most interesting interviews here are with Jean Gray, brought up in Partick in the 1920s, Finlay J MacDonald, brought up on Harris in the 1930s (his first day at school was *brutal*) and Jimmy Reid, brought up in Govan in the 1940s.

I think that CEO is dishonestly claiming people prefer chatbots. They don’t, it’s rigged. Websites are set up so chatbots are impossible to avoid and human contact almost impossible to find. Big company “customer service” is almost always the lowest standard they can get away with.
