Sharing this in honor of Tim Curry’s passing where I voice Nigel Thornberry. It’s really starting to hit me how much Tim’s voice over work inspired me in hindsight. Animation by @toucanldm.bsky.social youtu.be/Bqv13jmiUJE?...

I had a lot to say regarding the theme parks that I’ve unintentionally made this Mat’s longest episode so far lol

Working on a very, very, very, VERY short Obsession parody.

It’s on my bucket list to go to every Disney Park around the world and I’ve manage to go to all the Asia ones (Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo) in one trip! The only one left to go is Disneyland Paris.

With Amazement Park, I’ll admit, having the pilot be long was not a wise idea. I wanted to see how much I’ve grown as an animator by creating a fun and a bit ambitious project for myself. Even if AP doesn’t succeed, I’ll still be proud of my hard work with this project!

Working on a short animation. Hopefully to have it done by the first week of June.

Sketch’s of one of the characters from Amazement Park. A security guard that means well, but takes his job very seriously.

It’s one of my favorite voice performances that I REALLY want to bring back someday! Shelia really nailed it right out of the park with this one! Give her a follow if you want to see more of her voice work.

Working on a small and simple animation about an evil snow guy named…Snow Guy. Goal is to have it completed by next week.

Thank you all for the support towards Amazement Park! I’ll probably won’t post much on here for 2026 as I’ll want to get as much accomplished for the project. Though, every now and then I’ll showcase some behind the scenes stuff and at least one new sneak peek. Happy New Year!

I’m gonna do my best not to reveal TOO much from Amazement Park, but here is a small animation reel showcasing some of the scenes from the project. With that being said, I’ll plan on releasing a new sneak peek sometime in the next few months.

Here is a sneak preview from the upcoming pilot "Amazement Park" This project is an animated slapstick, slice of life about two teenage sisters planning a trip at a theme park! However, just because they have their day scheduled, doesn't mean all will go to plan. Full Version: youtu.be/9eFp9bb7hqc

Smear animations can be useful to help with certain actions characters make. That and they are hilarious to create.

Gonna give myself a little break from Amazement Park to create a very short animation since it’s been a good while since I’ve done so 😅

With certain scenes I animate, I want to see how the motion would play out first before I get to finalized the results. Here's an example from my Amazement Park project.

I apologize for not posting much content from my upcoming "Amazement Park" project this year, but I'm still working hard on it whenever I have the time to do so. I'm hopeful that I'll have it ready by end of 2025, but only time will tell. Until then, Happy New Years everyone!

I’ve made another fun guest appearance on AniMat’s podcast where we talk about our thoughts on Milhouse’s VA retiring, potential best animated film nominees, MuppetVision, Moana 2 and an insane deleted idea for Fantasia 2000!

ToucanLDM @toucanldm.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Hot take, but I’m honestly ok with this. Muppet Vision had a great run for about 35 years and I feel this is a good compromise on loosing a classic attraction while gaining a new Muppet experience similar to what they’ve done with Snow White at Magic Kingdom.
