I've spent the last hour sorting through a couple of boxes of family photos, trying to find a wedding picture of my parents -- my mother would like one for her residence. After digging and digging I finally found---one. One portrait. Lots of photos from my aunt's wedding (mum was maid of honour).

If I could recommend only one of his films, it would be Bhargavi Nilayam, where he is wonderful as the charming and compassionate writer teasing out the story of a ghost. I keep seeing news (which I'm not linking to) about the film The Confession of Mary that is claiming it's an official selection at TIFF. It is not. AFAIK, it's scheduled for a market screening at the festival. That is, only for industry buyers to get a look it. Sigh. #DesiWatch

Bluesky friends--a question: if you needed to use air miles, and you're choice was between Toronto-Tokyo-Seoul via Air Japan, or Toronto-Hong Kong-Seoul via Cathay Pacific, which would you choose? Note: we have not traveled in almost 25 years, so we're no longer seasoned, and this is a long haul.
