One of the reasons I joined bsky originally is to try to find an alternative platform to share photography other than Instagram, which in my mind has devolved into a pile of rotting garbage for the most part. For a giggle, I scrolled 20 posts yesterday to see how many of them were ads. It was half.

A couple of years ago I was lucky enough to visit Japan to ski some backcountry. We left the hotel way before sunrise to be up on the mountain to see it, and this was the view once the sun rose over the nearest ridge. Good morning.
