This is partly because I also struggle with lupus, which again, is usually under control, but it can flare up when my mental health isn’t doing so well, so right now I just need to take some time to focus on looking after my mind and body.

Usually I’m able to keep things fairly balanced through coping mechanisms I have figured out over the years, but recently life has just felt a bit too heavy to manage properly. It’s been affecting not only my mental health but also my physical health, so I’m trying to slow down a bit and rest.

I’ve struggled with my mental health for most of my life, especially since my dad died when I was 15. I have had diagnosed depression in the past, and I struggle with both anxiety and OCD which have gotten progressively worse over the last few years.
