Paws in for Stanley as he had to spend the night at the V.E.T. as he is all blocked again. This keeps happening so we will have to come up with a plan with Dr Andrew. Poor Stanley - he hates being away from home. Hopefully we can pick him up today. 😿 #catsofbluesky

And here's the whole family watching Jonesy try and dismantle the drain. Jonesy is an engineering cat. 😹 #catsofbluesky

Well this mad tuxie girl has been with us for 2 years now. It's her gotcha day. Jonesy is such a character. 😻

Hmm. What is going on here ? Stanley has special food for his diet but that doesn't stop Mia 😹 #catsofbluesky

Jonesy is a perfect prawn here 🦐 and she is very tired after a big day of chasing her tortie sister around the place 😹 #catsofbluesky

So in the interests of Stanley's diet (which hasn't been progressing in the right direction 🙀) we have been weighing everyone. Mia is a constant 3.5kg and a little but mighty ball of floof. Jonesy is 4.5kg and probably her adult weight now. Stanley remains 7.6kg despite our best efforts 😹 #happycats

Can anyone see a tortie in this picture ? I just see a palm leaf blown off the tree - there is rather a suspicious looking shape in there. 😹 #catsofbluesky

And meanwhile Jonesy being Jonesy 😹😹 Our back garden is netted so the cats can't get out and the many stray cats around can't get in either. #catsofbluesky

Unfortunately Stanley had a recurrence of his bladder issues and the V.E.T had to sedate him to clear the blockage. He was so happy to get home - I think he always worries that he might be left at the vet's again. He's much better now. And entry for #whiskaswednesday #catsofbluesky

Mia and I have been watching The Expanse this afternoon. On SBS On Demand and Viceland. Highly recommended and is probably where we're all going to end up - minus the interstellar space travel. #sciencefiction

This may not look like much, but this little tortie girl came to us 2 years ago as a reformed feral from a colony. She was skittish and her default reaction was a swipe. And now she seeks out affection and will happily sit on my lap purring. I'm so happy that she knows she is loved now. ❤️😻

Just returned to Australia from Europe (Italy) and my obs - - They don't do piccolos - They don't do raisin toast - Nobody talks about real estate - Kids are out playing on their bikes - The food tastes so much better - Hardly any fast food places Love the place. 🇮🇹

So poor Stanley has had a week of it. His bladder problems came back and he's had all the tests and it's due to him becoming anxious again. Poor thing. He's v good at the V.E.T. though.

A rare shot of Mia and Jones on the same cat tree. It's been an afternoon of bap baps. Mia was on the top level which is why she's looking a bit disgruntled. 😹

1120

Mia, Jones and Stanley @torties.bsky.social · 19/11/2025

Well the new tree house has the tick of approval from Jonesy. We had to get another one so everyone had a perch to sit in or on. Stanley has claimed the one in the front room and the girls are a bit disgruntled.

Well Stanley's making himself right at home. He has ventured out of his room but not very far. He has always been an indoor cat. The girls are coming in every now and then but no close encounters yet. He's a very snuggly boy.

Mia, Jones and Stanley @torties.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

Every single cat in the house loves this cat tree. Currently occupied by Stanley 😻 He is settling in well and both Jones and Mia have seen him. Only Jones seems to be keen on a close up so far. #catsofbluesky

Stanley's story: he lived with his family and 2 siblings for 7 years. All 3 cats were boarded at the vet's. When they found their new place, they were only allowed to have 2 cats 😿. So Stanley has found his new home with us.He's in his own room settling in.The girls are super curious. #catsofbluesky
