I introduced the Improving Access to WIC Act to help more moms and young children receive nutrition support. My bill would help states cut paperwork and appointments, make it easier for doctors to connect patients with WIC, and identify eligible families already enrolled in Medicaid or SNAP.

Los Angeles is home to 12.8 million people. San Diego is home to another 3.3 million. The President is talking about the destruction of two of California’s largest metropolitan areas as a “small price to pay.” That is not leadership. It is reckless and dangerous.

I secured $25M in federal funding to move the SR-71 Gap Closure Project in Pomona forward. This investment will mean safer roads, shorter commutes, and better movement of people and goods. CA-35 families deserve infrastructure that keeps up with our growing communities.

🎉 Here’s to our September birthday MVPs! We had a winning afternoon at the Montclair Senior Center celebrating everyone with a September birthday. Good food, great company, and plenty of reasons to celebrate our September all-stars. Happy birthday to the whole lineup! 🎂

I started my career as a dispatcher, and I know the skill, pressure, and responsibility that comes with being the voice on the other end. 911 dispatchers are first responders. I’m working to make sure our laws recognize them as such. Thank you, Elex Michaelson, for shining a light.

This National Police Week, I was honored to welcome the San Bernardino County Police Department and Ontario Police Department. Their work keeps our communities safe every day. I’m grateful for their service, sacrifice, and continued commitment to protecting our communities.

Proud to join the bipartisan U.S.-Mexico Caucus to strengthen cooperation between the United States and Mexico. From trade and security to economic opportunity, this partnership impacts millions every day. At a time of growing tensions, we must build bridges, not barriers.

During National Police Week, we honor the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our communities. We remember Timothy Corlew, Hector Cuevas Jr., and Andrew Nunez and all 363 officers killed in the line of duty this year. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

CA pays the bills, funds the agencies, and subsidizes the country. But when it’s our turn, when 7:10 fire survivors still can’t go home, suddenly the checkbook is closed? We sent $275B more than we got back last year. CA is tired of funding this government only to be abandoned.

It was great to see NASA astronaut Victor Glover at the Capitol today. Always proud to see someone from Pomona reach the highest levels and represent our communities in such an incredible way. His journey with the #Artemis program continues to inspire so many young people back home.

It was a privilege to recognize local Vietnam Veteran Richard Beasom for his service and sacrifice with a commemorative lapel pin honoring the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. If you know a Vietnam Veteran who should receive this recognition, please contact my District Office at (909) 481-6474

The only thing "unhinged" here is a President calling for a private "army" to hover over legal voters. This blatant attempt to bully Americans out of their right to vote is pathetic. Our democracy doesn’t belong to anyone.

I’m inspired by the leadership and compassion shown by the seniors at San Antonio High School! These students designed, fundraised, and built a “Kindness Den” at Sumner Elementary School to provide hygiene products, school supplies, and food to students in need.

I introduced and passed Savanna’s Act because for too long, the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women was met with a shrug from the federal government. Today, on National #MMIW Awareness Day, I’m continuing to press the Justice Department for full implementation.

The DOJ decision making it easier to detain and deport DACA recipients is a betrayal of everything this country promised Dreamers. Dreamers belong here. Congress must act now to deliver a permanent pathway to citizenship.

My amendment was just ACCEPTED by the committee. For too long, the powerful have used their connections to dodge consequences. This amendment stops taxpayer dollars from being used to lift sanctions on credible child traffickers. We’re drawing a line in the sand: Justice isn't for sale.

This Earth Day, over 400 community volunteers in Eastvale got out across local parks, streets, and neighborhoods to clean up, clear out, and take care of our community’s shared spaces. Huge thanks to Eastvale Kiwanis for organizing this 6th annual clean up and to everyone who put in the time! 💪🌱

If you are willing to die for this country, you should not be deported by it. My amendment to ensure non-citizen veterans receive legal counsel and due process was blocked, leaving our heroes at risk. This is a betrayal of our values and a broken promise to those who wore the uniform.

Imagine paying more for bread just because of the data on your phone. It’s called “Surveillance Pricing.” I tried to have the FTC investigate this digital price-gouging, but House Republicans just blocked it. They’re protecting corporate profits while you pay the price at the checkout.

It’s markup day: I’m introducing four amendments to hold this government accountable. ✔️ Due process for veterans
✔️ No blank checks for war with Iran
✔️ No insurrectionists on the federal payroll
✔️ No more surveillance pricing Heading into committee to put this on the record. Stay tuned.

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. Before I was in Congress, I spent 17 years as a 911 dispatcher. I know the weight of that headset and the adrenaline of being the voice on the other end. To our dispatchers: thank you for your service and for always answering the call.

Republicans just voted AGAINST a War Powers Resolution and handed this administration a blank check for war.   At least $40 BILLION gone. Gas jumped from under $5 to over $6. Inflation is climbing. Housing is slowing.   Working families are paying the price.

The President: poses as the “lord and savior” Also the President: claims to be a doctor Also the President: cuts healthcare, food, and housing This isn’t leadership. It’s the GOP choosing suffering for the American people.

Today we recognize the wage gap facing Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander women, who earn just 83 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men. This is unacceptable. We must keep fighting for equal pay and economic justice for all women.

As the only California member on the House Administration Committee, I joined the hearing in LA to push back against GOP efforts to restrict voting rights. Bills like the SAVE Act and actions limiting mail‑in voting would make it harder for Americans to cast their ballots.

This is a deeply disturbed individual. Threatening war crimes and brushing off the human cost is reckless and dangerous. Speaker Johnson must call Congress back now, the American people deserve action, not silence.

It’s not too late to grab a card! Trump’s Cabinet turnover is starting to look like a bingo card and Americans are the ones stuck watching the chaos unfold. Another firing. Another loyalist. How many squares have we checked off already? 🎯

Every time you fill up your tank, Republicans’ war with Iran is costing you. Gas prices are rising as the conflict drives energy costs higher. You shouldn’t be paying for their reckless choices. They chose themselves over your tax dollars.

Tonight, I voted NO to the Republicans’ chaos. Families are going unpaid, TSA officers are stretched thin, and national security is on the line. Bipartisan solutions exist, it’s time to stop the games and do right by the American people.
