When we’re challenged by loneliness and forces looking to divide us, it’s community groups that keep us connected.   But here’s the reality: 77% of charities in Canada are small. Reference: *2025 CanadaHelps Report. That means they: struggle more to attract funding and achieve sustainability, are twice as likely to question whether they can continue operating in the years ahead (reference: 2024 ONN Nonprofit Survey, organizations under $250,000 in revenue) and make neighbourhood programs possible.
