Things take time and I don’t expect to be “fixed” immediately, but I have at least started down this road which was the hardest part.

Other to-do list items beyond finding the confidence to get job I enjoy and open myself up more emotionally (and sexually)

I’ve been dealing with anhedonia and depression, for quite a number of years holding me back. It’s many years late, but I’ve been taking some positive steps in the past 2 months, for example - seeing a therapist & psychiatrist. - taking on projects outside of work - rocking a mustache just because

I don’t think even at 13 I was able to fully comprehend what had happened, even when we visited Ground Zero.

Wild that 9/11 was 25 yrs ago. I grew up on Long Island and was 13 during the attacks. We frequently went to Brooklyn (via Belt Parkway) to visit my grandma and always had a great view of south NYC on the drive. In the many weeks after 9/11, the view was eerie and filled w/ a relentless dust cloud.

I don't understand vo2 max tbh... I'm active with the gym, softball, etc. But according to my apple watch, my VO2 max has been below 40 for my almost 3 years here :(

Stepping away for a bit. I am generally fine, but I have actively started to work on myself in ways I should have started years ago. I’m not going to become a complete hermit, but i need to let certain things go for a while.

I was asking folks the same thing recently. The only things I can think of beyond basic donating them are 1) donate to a furcon charity auction. Surely someone will want them. 2) Turn them all into a blanket

Spiderman Brand New Day was a really good movie in my opinion. It does a good job of being pretty grounded compared to other Marvel movies, and it made me a little NY homesick. ((The villain was honestly super meh though))

Playing with some neck pain, I had the go-ahead RBI sac fly in the top of the last inning. Then I threw out a runner trying to go 1st to 3rd on a single for the last out of the game to get the win! 🥎🥎🥎

I just got approved for the more basic Explorer Card. If I feel over time I want to upgrade I'll do so.

Does anybody I know have both a Chase Sapphire CC AND a United CC? I've been trucking along with a Sapphire Preferred for over a decade now but considering adding a United Explorer mainly for the travel benefits, but still use my Sapphire as the main card for now.

“Why doesn’t your fursuit fit after 10 years Tornado?” Well let’s compare a pre-suit 2016 photo to 2026.

Feb 2016 photo taken during fursuit measurements

June 2026 photo for comparison to 2016. Tape measure means nothing here other than to try and do the same pose as before and it was not as easy as before.

I personally don’t understand how people can wear tight shirts that constrict against your pits. I’m starting to go from L to XL in shirts because my L shirts are doing just that. Also I was wearing a mix of M and L shirts just a couple years ago, so that a good indicator of my workout progress. 💪

Still not really right at the plate. But did well enough with a grand slam on the ledger and solid outfield play to go with the 2 W’s. We finish the first part of the season 7-1. 🥎🦎
