"Who needs to do anything special for sunday when you look as good as I do? Every day with me in it is a seductive one!"

000

"..Well, I wasn't. Technically still not one. But....you remember what Amalthus was working on? A way to give a blade's power to a person? ....It worked. You're looking at the only surviving experiment." Normally he would keep this quiet but- it's Lorna! It's better she learns now.

000

"Ha, a driver.....I've never really tried that before. Honestly, sounds kinda fun. Maybe I should give that a shot. But what lucky lady would be chomping at the bit for me?"

000

"Oh you haven't met? Hey Rex! I got someone who wants to meet you!"

000

"You heard the lady, wouldn't want to upset her. Guess this little shoot out is called off."

000

"Heyyyy Lorna- I was kidding! Everyone knows I'm a jokester, haha!" .....Oh boy, how is he gonna tell her about all the bad stuff HE did? .....Good idea Mikhail, let's just not do that!

000

"So is no one going to shoot eachother? Man, just when it was getting good too..."

"Aw man now this is what I'm talking about, it was getting a little too boring around here! About time there was a little excitement."

000

🍓: muse is still low, but man rewatching xenoblade 2 cutscenes and SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY- The fact Mikhail specifically is shown to react to rex declaring he wants to go to elysium for answers back in tantal is SUCH GOOD FORESHADOWING for his insistence on helping rex get the chance to get that answer

"Ha, with you involved we won't even need Mythra!" He let out a short laugh.

000

MIkhail @torna-mikhail.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

A family? That felt rather bitter sweet to say. In truth, they never would have been one without all they had gone through. But that also made them all too blind with revenge to see what was in front of them. "Nah, it should be fine. Aegis's driver can just kick his ass again. I'll help."

000

MIkhail @torna-mikhail.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

"Jeez, this is why I didn't wanna tell you..." He sighed deeply, before getting up and simply wrapping Lora in a hug. He can be serious when the situation calls for it, it seems. "I'm sorry."

000

"Come on. I know i'm all grown up, but I'm not the type to joke about something like this." Well he was, but not with people he actually cared about. "He was working with Malos, and wanted to kill the archetech."

000

"Yep...... A lot happened but long story short. Amalthus won and Mythra sealed herself away. Eventually malos found jin, convinced him to try and destroy humanity, and with you gone our boy agreed despite knowing it's not what you would have wanted." Did he have to be so brash? He did, it's Mikhail

000

"Alright where do I start?" He'd ask himself, when did he get so tall to tower over her even when sitting down? "So guess we should start from the beginning. You uh.....died."

000

"Hey take it easy, there's no rush! Me and you, we're both alive right now." .....No, this was wrong. Even he couldn't go through with this, even if he doesn't want to bother. ".....Alright, fine. Lora there's a lot that's happened and I don't know where to start. Lets just....sit down."

000

"That little rag tag group was something special, it almost felt like...." It almost felt like back when he had a family. People he loved. But no, he shook his head before finishing. "Malos is back too, though he doesn't seem......what's the word. A total dickbag anymore?"

000

"I....wasn't around for that part. Supposedly, it was thanks to him Amalthus finally kicked it. At least, that's what the kid told me anyway. But I was also pretty sure you died so. Maybe he's still kicking." The kid? Who was he talking about?

000

"I haven't told her. Honestly, I'm not sure I should have even told you." He noted, he half wanted to pat her shoulder in reassurance but in a rare un-mikhail like move he would refrain. "We failed, Mythra found herself a new driver who stopped us. But hey, good news. Amalthus kicked the bucket!"

000

"Hoo boy, and I get to be the lucky son of a B to tell you?" Well, can't escape this now. ".....Jin wanted to destroy humanity, and kill our daddy dearest." Might as well rip that bandaid off.

000

"....Freed is certainly a word. For what it counts, i wasn't easy on him. Have you been caught up on what exactly he tried to do?"

000

"Me? Force a smile? I would never. These charming smiles are all genuine." Not convincing in the slightest. He did have a bit of a genuine smile. one that was warm and vulnerable, hidden below it. "What do you remember? That might be a good place to start. Me? I remember it all."

000

Oh, now that he wasn't expecting. Thought, looking back, he probably should have. Even after 500 years he's never met someone quite like her. He just wishes he remembered more of it, and some parts less. "Hey easy-" He tried to protest to no avail. "Alright alright, I think I saw haze that way."

000

Uh oh! Not like he can just run and hide now. He's a coward sure, but not to that level. He braced himself with a sharp intake of air, and a charming smile that totally wasn't practiced. "Heyyyy, Haze! Long time no see!"

000

Don't mind him, he's just purposely trying to avoid Haze spotting him Super sneaky, Mikhail....

000

Cue a whistle. "Wow, quite a name for yourself there. I think Levi is a bit better, bit more personal." Yeah the act wasn't being given up any time soon

000

Ah, Haze. Seems she remembers .....Which, makes it really hard to approach her. He doesn't like thinking about people he lost in the best of days but he didn't want to try and get close to them again. He's not sure if he can handle losing them again.

010

"Please please, no reason we can't get along right? I'm Mikhail, a lovely name that's only half as lovely as the ladies that say it~" A cheesy grin, he was putting this on a little.

000

"Humans being greedy and messing with things beyond their comprehension? Colour me surprised. Me? I haven't been human for a long time." He shrugged, shaking his head in a comedic fashion- though there was real resentment in those words somewhere.

000

"Hurt your kin? Please, do I look like a bad guy to you? Come on. Blonde locks, stunning blue eyes, the body of a demi god? Classic hero build." Well, he didn't see himself as a hero really. If he was, no one back then would have died. Still, he doesn't seem phased at all.

000

"Whoa-ho! Been a while since I've seen someone so big! You need something my very tall friend?" He seems almost excited? Maybe that's just this little dumbass act he has going on.

000

"Goooooood morning everyone! You can stop your tears now, the hero has arrived!" Posing in a 'sexy' way because of course he is

000

MIkhail @torna-mikhail.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

Oh boy, she just had to ask that huh? "Ah, well......that's a bit more complicated to answer. I.....haven't seen jin in a while. But I think I did see Haze, maybe she'd be better at explaining this all than I am." Jin.....he doesn't have the heart to tell her.

000

"It's.....a bit more complicated than that but don't worry about the details. What matters is right now, you and me? We're alive. We can figure out the details later." If this were anyone but Mikhail, it could be mistaken for him trying to take advantage of a situation. In reality? -

MIkhail @torna-mikhail.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

"Ah right.....I wish someone like Akhos was around. He'd be better at explaining this." Okay so he wasn't dead, good! He was pretty sure he felt alive. "Lets just start small. You're alive, and so am I. I think. It's been a long time."

010

"Hey hey relax. It's me, yeah." He would do his usual method, defusing a situation with flirting. "I know I'm all tall and handsome now. I wouldn't blame you if you developed a crush on me." It was a clear joke.

010

"Lora! That's you, right? Man, maybe I did die and go to heaven. That would explain how I'm seeing you here right now." Ah, he's still delusional, great.

000

"Wow, if this is the welcome back I get maybe I should have just gone and died." He joked, holding his hands up in defense before she could react. "Kidding! Kidding."

000

"...There's no way. I must be seeing things. There's no way she's....Lora?"

000

"Yowch." He mainly pretended to be affected, chuckling softly. "What, I came back alive just like you told me! Just took me a while."

000

"What, no welcome back party planned for me? Sheesh, it's like people thought I died or something!"

000
