7 panel comic featuring my splatoon OC, Daze. The first panels start with a saturated negative shape language showing ink splatters and as you descend the page the saturation is reduced to greyscale. The panels flip between scenes from competitive solo queue to a sobering conversation between Daze and a random competitor covering his fears as a competitor falling behind. The script is as follows:
Daze: "We had seen it happen semi-often--teams around us getting unwarranted antagonization. It made stagnation a death sentence. The pressure to improve drove a lot of them to see more differences amongst themselves and to eventually disband."
"So I have to improve somehow. I want to have the best chances of that never happening to us. I wouldn't be here without my team. I wouldn't be this happy. I owe it to them. What if I can't even win for them? What then?"
"I just don't really want to know what I'm like... without them."

I do have to be explicit about this b/c last year at Riptide someone inserted a coin into the mini gacha machine I had while I was away from the table and broke it. That machine was going to be retired anyway so I did not care much, however, this machine is not one I can afford that on.

Not a huge update- MX Paint series stuff has mostly been delayed due to oil prices and other production cost issues. BUT I did get in a new sample wallet in nylon instead of printed PU leather to see if I could mitigate the scratch resistance issue with the current style. Notes below!
