"...It's your portrait decomposing amid polluted nature and the tide of technology. This decomposition of humanity does not signal its death; in reality, we are being decom-posed, we are being metamorphosed, and we are being kept alive. My work consists in making you cognizant of this situation in the form of a visual maquette.
Does that mean we are being kept like worms in the septic pit of polluted nature and technology? In that case, what has happened to the dignity of humanity?
You're forgetting that we dug the pit ourselves.
History shows us that humanity has conquered, parceled out, and exploited nature as it pleased, and in so doing tortured it. Now humanity is reaping pollution as nature's vengeance. Technology, in its primitive state, was meant to he an instrument for conquering nature, so we had to..."
