That’s the backstory! In the world they suddenly get a wing accessory and a clock, which they can use to move between the worlds (real world / void). By exploring the places of the past and the memories attached, they slowly get to see people’s faces again 😌↕️

Eye doctors said nothing, and telling so to the closest people would make one look weird. So they lived on, because at least the voices stayed the same, so they could still recognise the people they are familiar with. Of course, they still looked into it - spendings hours in the local library

Basic thing is their name is Tora and they are a student! One day, they have noticed that when looking at people’s faces, they looked a bit blurry, but they passed it off as nothing. Slowly, their ability to recognise faces became nonexistent. And what else to do, then just get used to it?
