Hey wait a second the article is about how slay the spire 2 is actively anti generative AI. You have to keep in mind that AI also have a different meaning in game dev. AI has been a thing long before LLMs. Nav meshes, physics engines, when characters do goofy procedural walking and flop around? AI

So after seeing the explanation that there actually isn't AI in this, and the article is explicitly against ai, I wanted to check something and... 21 replies, and the replies are off. They know they fucked up, but they don't care. The clout is what matters. This is pure clout chasing.

This is why I don't trust "Duck AI Slop!" on outing undisclosed AI use. Like I get it, AI fucking sucks but that kind of hypervigilance only serves to get lost in the sauce of what they're actually fighting. Please stop reposting them.

@xtrsunburn.bsky.social commissioned me to draw this illustration for @triforce.bsky.social for Christmas of their characters together. I enjoyed getting the chance to do a full piece again and that it be something she'd love. 💚 #maemgart

A night piece of two characters sitting on a hilltop, looking over a cityscape. Their space ship is parked on a lower hillside.

Sir Terry Pratchett is best understood as one of the most interesting, deeply ethical practical (I would say Pragmatist but I cede to actual experts) philosophers of the late 20th Century who just happened to work in deconstructed fantasy literature as his medium.

"people can still download your art from bsky and feed it into AI" if gamer behavior has taught me anything, just one extra button press is more than enough to annoy a MASSIVE amount of people into not making the effort

Tip: Request 3 pictures from 3 different angles and all of them have to have a visible paper with specific text on it. If any of the damage changes even a LITTLE refuse the refund.

The problem isn't CGI. I love VFX! I think the problem is that you're watching a film that's three hours long and not about anything.

I just saw another "Why Modern Movies Look Bad" video, full of clips from Jurassic World and the MCU. Maybe people could try watching good films?

"But ultimately, Goliath lost" My dude, Goliath didn't even make it to the city where David is. He heard about David and decided to fight him but didn't even manage to find out where he is. Meanwhile David isn't even aware Goliath exists.

A very gentle reminder that if you are buying from Etsy, in Etsy's eyes, a 5⭐ review is a pass and anything below is a failure on the seller's part and we're penalised for this. If our average rating in a 3 month period falls below 4.8 we lose search ranking and therefore income.

To paraphrase my last rant thread: Effective criticism of something comes from a place of love, and nothing but adoration leads to stagnation in an art form. Love what you love, but recognize stumbles, and encourage growth.
