iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

all this to explain why I haven't done anything online or talked to hardly anyone since July, I'm still free on weekends thankfully but soon those are gonna be at least partially taken up by job applications. at least it won't be hard to find an improvement to the current standard

I thought I was just having a hard time adjusting, but I reeeally shouldn't have joined back up when their big contract client replaced my cushy in-office sourcing job with an AI tool that (to nobody's surprise) does it worse the alternative is being unemployed ofc but this money ain't worth it

I walk up to 15k steps (7mi / 12km) a day at work, my position is 40 hours mandatory, and i'm not allowed to sit despite not having customers to appease. and because it's a private equity retail chain, we're understaffed so I often have to juggle two or three jobs by myself

tomorrow I'm fixing my resume and playing ITG and if I do literally anything else I need one of y'all to kick me i've coasted for far too long but i realized today after a lil stress-cry that my future happiness is dependent on both being up to a higher standard than what I've settled for

Sounds like a good time! Anime is what got me in and I've always followed it closer than tokusatsu, so there's definitely a lot of fun shows I've missed out on~

Somebody's footwork isn't up to snuff... (full render #commission for @doppurr.bsky.social and @chibisheepy.bsky.social!)

A vivid arcade setting. Doppler is panicking and missing all of the notes on a Dance Dance Revolution cabinet. Nimbus leans on the railing and observes the chaos. Both are sweating bullets.

Hello everyone! Check this out! For the uninitiated, the people of SilvaGunner have created wonderful rips of cherished rhythm game tracks. As big fans, the Full Combo team wants to share some of their favorite rips! Let's take a look at this event's rips! 🧵

I played No Need For Flowers ONCE, now I have a pear-shaped planedragon concept for an imaginary shmup that needs art immediately this was their plan all along, i'm sure

if you or kaiza ever want to invest in a home setup, there are so many ways to keep it affordable these days unless noise is the issue, that's kinda unavoidable to an extent

played ITG for the first time in months today and all the lazy habits that i've accumulated since starting new position at work snapped into focus 👍 not a great feeling, but at least it's something to work towards

I dunno many playlists really, but there are some albums that are almost guaranteed to put me down for the count Carbon Based Lifeforms - World of Sleepers (fittingly, lol) Thee Silver Mt Zion Orchestra - Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward Abakus - That Much Closer to the Sun

maybe i have friends who are just particularly enthusiastic about sleep (who isn't?), but everyone I know has come to love theirs after the obligate adjustment period. best of luck with it & may you rest well! o7

speaking of, sorry we haven't chatted much recently! it's the unfortunately common story of being too tired for socializing after work, but I don't like how it's becoming a pattern :< hope you've been doing alright~

I've known for a while that the coworker I see every day is a furry but I don't really ever talk much about myself. being from a different generation of the fandom and all, it's hard to gauge what we'd even have in common. it feels like trying to befriend a cousin from a remote branch of family

I got every lamp working! These things are an absolute blast to work on, even in the solid state era it's all so analog and physical. Using the lamp matrix diagrams to sleuth out what's wrong and where your bad connections are is so satisfying

power's out at work because the previous tenant (or the landlord) forgot to pay the outstanding bill when our lease started it's cool enough out that we don't *need* the AC, so I'm just chillin in the emergency lighting and waiting for the word to go home

I have zero middle management aspirations with this company, I just need to know what's changing day-to-day so I can do the work and stay caught up. Being proactive tends to keep you in the sights for promotion, but I know I'm gonna enjoy the day when I get to say no :B

toraie! @toraie.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

seemingly everyone but me at work was told two pieces of very important info between 4pm yesterday and 7am today, and it resulted in me calling the district mgr to (politely) say, "look, if I'm the only daytime ops lead, I need to be in the same loop as the manager who is currently on vacation"

playing 120hz sdvx nabla and loctest jubeat all weekend with the new timing visualizer made me realize how inconsistent I still am when it comes to hand-controlled rhythm games. It's still mostly a bell curve, but nowhere near the ±10ms I can get on ITG (when I've been practicing...)
