"Witness the Era Nova with me." I was made aware just this morning that it was 2691 backwards today so I promptly drew this (admittedly much softer and happier than the meaning behind 2691 but I wanted something soft okay) Might come back to this, probably wont #phaidei

"For this brief, beautiful momement, this was enough."

Happy one year of posting these gays to me :D

I had this in my files for ages and forgot I never posted it I yap about this more on tumblr if you wanna see that www.tumblr.com/toraavanak/8...

Fairy Tail AU Phaidei
Mydei has Crystal Make magic, which he manifests in the form of armor
Phainon has something I'm currently calling Coreflame Magic, which is similar to Requip but rather than weapons or armor Phainon gains body enhancements

A few preliminary sketches + where their guild marks would be

Haven't drawn properly in a hot minute so easing back in by drawing phaidei in my fits

This looks like the start of a movie/video game where Phainon is Just A Guy:tm: and Mydei is the competent badass that accidentally recruits a civilian into the plot

THE GRAND MASTER IS HOME MY ANEMO STREAK CONTINUES IM SO HAPPY I GOT HIM Now I actually need to build him cuz I spent months prefarming the wrong artifacts-

77 pity guaranteed, had to skip Columbina, Zibai and Illuga for him

Lost to Wolf's Gravestone, but this came early at 23

That art trend where I give my blorbo my problems I only work part time but it's enough to convince me that service workers are superhuman Look, the anxiety of nothing happening but with every possibility that something can and will happen is not good for my brain okay- #phainon || #toraavanakart

More Soul Eater AU Phaidei because I have the madness of yaoi //executed I just finished rereading the entirety of Soul Eater and I'm so glad it still sparks joy (and decided to read Soul Eater NOT as well and I thought it was cute) #phaidei #phainon #mydei || #toraavanakart

If you had told 16 year old Mydei, fresh off the recovery year he took after his father fucked up his soul, that in 7 years he would be a successful Meister with a weapon utterly devoted to him both on and off the battlefield, he would have thought you were utterly insane //executed again

062

Tora Avanak @toraavanak.bsky.social · 16/12/2025

Playing around with the ideas for the Soul Eater AU, I think I like this one a lot Might go with this, gonna let it simmer first cuz I already have a fantastic opening scene with this idea but also I really like the idea of Mydei with big fuck you sword #mydei #phainon #phaidei || #toraavanakart

Alternate idea of Demon Spear Phainon and Demon Great Sword Mydei + some effects of Madness on Phainon

#Phaidei but it's Soul Eater Genuinely surprised I haven't seen this AU done before Please be nice to me, I haven't read Soul Eater in a while so I'm playing fast and loose with the lore here

Soul Eater AU for Phaidei
Phainon - Demon Weapon (Great Sword)
Mydei - Meister / "Artificial" Demon Weapon (Spear)

I was suddenly gripped with the urge to brainrot a bit and draw Ego again With 3.7, I can finally flesh out more thoughts on his lore as an adult but for now here he is as a young child #hsroc #phaidei || #toraavanakart

Some doodles of Ego as a young boy (he's around 6 or 7ish) with some Phainon and Mydei cameos

I lost to Welt oTL This Phaidei rerun is kicking my ass guys I don't have enough pulls for this

020

Tora Avanak @toraavanak.bsky.social · 26/11/2025

The Phainon pulls on the first day of his first banner were... dramatic, to say the least (ft. my sibling Purple)

I had skipped every banner after Mydei so I had PLENTY of pulls
Unfortunately Phainon was dodging me

Then Purple pointed out that we were still on the Radiant Feldspar because I forgot to move after I ran Divergent Universe the day prior

Much screaming and scrambling was done, including putting Mydei on the team to actually summon his husband

120

Tora Avanak @toraavanak.bsky.social · 09/11/2025

In honor of the Phaidei rerun, here is my artist's rendition of my Mydei pulls during the day 1 of his first banner (ft. my sibling Purple who watched my pulls)

I skipped most of Penacony so I had plenty of pulls...

...and he comes home under 30 pulls anyway
His LC was also a win at 73 pity

050

Tora Avanak @toraavanak.bsky.social · 01/11/2025

I saw some outfits when I went out with some friends the other week and I was possessed to draw #phaidei in it #toraavanakart

My sibling pointed out I already draw Phainon in the outfit Mydei wears but I thought it would be fun to give Phainon the more basic outfit XD

020

Tora Avanak @toraavanak.bsky.social · 28/10/2025

Sharing my exploration team because I couldn't care less about team meta I just wanna put my favourite blorbos together

Phainon to clear overworld mobs
Mydei to blitz combat
Dan Heng keeps everyone alive
And Trailblazer/Caelus because I like having the MC in an exploration/story team

000

Tora Avanak @toraavanak.bsky.social · 28/10/2025

DAN HENG STILL LOVES ME I had considered skipping the LC because Cyrene + Phaidei was right around the corner but... ...I had to. I really, truly had to. I have been a Dan Heng fan since day 1 (my E3S1 DHIL carried me for so long) and I loved his story in Amphoreus No regrets <3

Thank you Dan Heng for being nice to me QQ

Tora Avanak @toraavanak.bsky.social · 26/10/2025

People keep making the "Mydei running after 9 months" joke (including in my own post about the Phaidei rerun) so I took it as a sign from the universe to debut this cocky little shit #hsroc #phaidei || #toraavanakart

So everyone, this is Ego, my first HSR OC that I made solely for the purposes of having domestic Phaidei fluff in my brain- //kicked
