An #InanimateInsanity AU where, instead of everyone getting deleted at the end, the Shimmer’s end up shooting the ship down and it crashed into the hotel, killing Cobs and Mephone, leaving the remaining contestants to fend for themselves. Paintbrush.. isn’t doing well.

Top left- Paintbrush crying and clutching themself while hallucinating desaturated versions of Fan, Lightbulb, and Test Tube, each with a bright red X on their faces.

Top right- Paintbrush wearing a lab coat and squinting at a blueprint, saying “How does she read this?”

Middle Right- Baxter wearing Lightbulb’s dunce hat, looking sad. Arrow pointing to him saying “Apple takes care of; PB is too busy.”

Bottom Left- Paintbrush wearing a stained labcoat held up by a belt, covered in bandages and scars with an X carved into their face and messy, burnt hair. Arrows point at them, saying;

“Cut X into their face during breakdown”
“Burn stains”
“Test Tube’s lab coat”
“Careless scars from dissociation”

Bottom Right- Marshmallow looking up worriedly at Paintbrush, small baked patches around her body, including her left hand (viewer’s right). An arrow points to her, saying “Worried.”

Fun fact: If someone quotes a post of yours in a way that is unwelcome (as is commonplace on Twitter/X) there is a tool to combat the unwanted attention. Simply click the three dot menu on the quote post & click "Detach quote". This removes your post from their quote post. Useful to know, do share!
