Slept on it. Woke up. Added a couple hundred more words. It needs polish, but Chapter 8 of The Road Not Taken, “Two Willow Trees,” is actually WRITTEN now. It needs polish and probably a beta read, but I should have it up by this weekend!

I should stay off of Twitter. Right now it is entirely people saying “hey, please don’t offer unsolicited criticism of fanfic we post for free” and others saying (I shit you not) “I paid my internet bill and spent my time to read this, I am obligated to waste more of my time belittling you. Cope.”

I chose Ekko as the Temperance card because he embodies harmony, patience, balance, and a quiet sense of comfort, with a touch of delicacy… but also that spark of impulsiveness. ⏳ Which Arcane character would you like to see next?

I chose Vander for the Justice card because it stands for fairness and consequence, mastery, balance, integrity, truth, order, judgment, uncertainty, and rigidity. Hope you like it! 🍻 I’m currently working on Heimerdinger, want to see him in color? #vander #arcane #arcanetarot

I’ll probably give it 24 hours after AO3 is up then delete the PDFs, because I remain an insecure writer seeking comments/kudos as validation. (I’ve once again convinced myself I suck. Happens when I over-invest and then step back too far. Wish knowing the cycle meant I could break it, but nope.)

Hattie 🎩 @tophat69.bsky.social · 02/03/2026

I can tell when AO3 goes down because the TikToks where I posted entire chapters to my account for AO3 outages start picking up again. So yeah I have everything in PDF and ebook if anyone in Soukoku, Jayvik, Zaundadsb fandoms start going through fic withdrawal.

Been doing my damndest to stop our government from committing atrocities on children here. So obviously we’ve got to start our newest war by bombing a girls’ school overseas. I’d noticed the other day that I’ve been ending my posts with “I’m tired.” And I am. But I’m also so fucking furious.

So I splurged and my commissions/artist support this last check went to a painted Silco model I’m still waiting on and the artist gave a coupon for my next order with them and I mean cult leader Viktor is just right THERE but I should probably wait for the first figure to come.

Trying to explain to new fans that the tag they're looking for is Exactly What it Says on the Tin. THAT tag means "everything in here is tagged and what you see is what you get." Dead Dove: Do Not Eat is a related tag, but SPECIFICALLY MEANS the contents are unpleasant. Like said dead bird.

I’m not JUST absent here because of organizing. It’d be disingenuous of me to pretend it was (though hey, don’t broadcast what you’re doing if it will endanger vulnerable populations). I’m also offline because I’m struggling with the Epstein files being treated like titillating salacious gossip.

Younger versions of Vander and Silco from Arcane sitting on the Docks overlooking the Pilt. They're mid banter and Vander is giving his friend a gentle bump on the arm. Behind them, the silhouette of the bridge looms, foreboding of things to come in the near future.

First, thank you! I love the characters I play with. For RP, I’d have to figure out HOW! My past rp experience was basically long-form with action etc, not on social media with character counts and in the format of in-character posting. I may come back to that idea sometime! I’ll keep it in mind.

The Chem Barons were a parallel institution intended to subvert Piltover’s legal and economic control over Zaun as a part of Silco’s rebellion. That’s a necessary part of revolution. And that actually worked. Piltover’s grasp slipped. They just were never designed to be a long-term solution.

Major setback yesterday. Doing this in a red state as leadership is actively working against us unfortunately doesn’t always end up with a win. Outsiders overlook the fight, sympathetic locals as proof of the futility of fighting back, and the powers that be want to make us an example. I’m tired.

“End of Part 1” because either Atsushi or Dazai is going to the Port Mafia and that will fundamentally shift story focus. (Yes I regularly reference my theory about Dazai going back to the PM and how visually and narratively it’s been building. I wrote fics because of it too.)

But what if I think that Viktor is Jayce’s better half, hm? Because lbr a character being a morally gray or a cyborg never stopped me from empathizing with the underprivileged and oppressed population over the wealthy. Eat the rich. (Instructions unclear. Viktor, sit back down.)

Organizations and people are begging for foster families for pets left behind when their families are abducted. If you can provide loving foster care, please consider looking into it. It’s not a small thing: pets are family, and people are terrified that they will be left alone to starve.

The Libertarian Party just advocated abolishing ICE. I will never vote Libertarian. But this is why I care, even as a leftist: GOP voters will need an off-ramp when they start to realize they’re the new Nazi party. I don’t JUST want a vote split. I want the GOP to wither under its own rot.

Awareness is no longer the primary issue. We see what’s happening. Unfortunately, you won’t change the minds of Magats by trauma reposting. They’re getting off on it like a power trip. The cruelty is the point. A lot of mutual aid requires PRIVACY. Don’t post anything that endangers others.

Reminder: the majority of ICE’s “authority” is over civil offenses. Visa overstays, ‘unlawful presence,’ status violations… that’s ALL CIVIL. Not criminal. They’re attacking communities, jackboot marching streets, going door to door, and killing people… for the equivalent of a contract dispute.

They’re sending drones prior to activity and raids. Because local police are militarized and overfunded, the DHS 287(g) Agreements that essentially deputize police into ICE is giving departments a chance to “play with their toys.” They’re currently buzzing UAV above us.

ACLU discusses it: www.aclu.org/know-your-ri...
