Forced Rhubarb A cultivation method used by Yorkshire farmers within the Rhubarb triangle. A dark, heated shed, lit only by candlelight, is used to house the crops. Thus yielding a tenderer, sweeter plant and exponential Rhubarb growth. If you are quiet, you can hear the plants creak as they grow.
