I'm now going on a long overdue genuine hiatus for at least a month. I'll be riding the Puffing Billy. I will also be avoiding movie spoilers. Most importantly, I can salvage my digital detox. Since I won't be online, there'll be far less screen time for me. I'll be out playing instead! Goodbye.

Here we have a trio of rats who I may refer to in the future as "The Sewers". From left: Rattray, Eric and Lucy. Rattray is holding a green ball reading "ToonThick's 600th art post on Newgrounds".

Rattray, who is based on the Feb-Jun 2021 version of Albert the "tropical muskrat", hasn't been seen for more than 2 years. Lucy on the other hand is pretty much a new character based on similar designs in the past.

I'm now 2 1/2 months into my hiatus, or what's left of it. I put down a number of reasons for my significantly reduced social media presence. One thing I didn't mention back in May however, was "Coyote Vs. Acme". That movie wasn't on my mind 3 months ago, but its release is now approaching.

I did have the impression there was presently no local release date for Coyote Vs. Acme, but after I did some online digging, I now know it will be out in Australia on September 17. It might be only 3 weeks after the US, similar to "The Day The Earth Blew Up" last year, but I won't take any chances

I did say I'm floating on the internet nearly 2 weeks ago, and I can continue to float up until August 28. I will then go on full hiatus from the internet for up to a month or more. Not only will I be able to salvage my digital detox, but I will also avoid potential spoilers for Coyote Vs. Acme.
