"The Intruder must be stopped...No matter the cost." I've always wanted to get something of my TOM Mayu doin this sick pose from The Transformers : The Movie, My friend Jordy made it, I colored (minus the BG) and took some inspiration from @ichimoral.bsky.social on the "TOONAMI FOREVER" part!

The TOM Mayu, in the iconic pose Optimus Prime makes in "The Transformers : The Movie" (1986). Ready to open fire on The Intruder with his Kiefer A-1 Plasma Rifle.

Remember that ugly ass Nickelodeon rebrand, the "peak of graphic design"? Yeah, that's 17 years old now. I still want to kick the shit outta Cyma for it.

So apparently Nick is airing the rest of their "Max & The Midknights" on TeenNick instead of the main channel? Kinda scummy, especially when TN is still a premium channel for some viewers. Also a telling sign that something's gonna get cancelled.

Honest thoughts : It was a damn good time, I don't know why but seeing movies in the theaters feels way more immersive than just watching a bitcrushed version fit for DVDs. It had everything I could've ever wanted out of an anniversary screening. Would see again.

We were initially going to have a patreon button in our outro, but YouTube thinks everyone's a criminal or a spammer, so they limited links to partners only like pussies. When will they grow a pair? Probably never. Anyways we had to fix our outro because YT can't be bothered to be a good platform.

Presuming Paramount has syndication rights from Hasbro, you'd think they'd have Nicktoons air a Transformers G1 marathon in honor of Peter Cullen's legacy. I made a concept of what that would've looked like. Til' All Are One. RIP Peter Cullen.

toonamiguy99 @toonamiguy99.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

yknow, you ever think another reason most nicktoons in the 2000's got cancelled was also because nickelodeon kept rating everything TV Y when they absolutely should have rated it higher than that i call negligence

Toonami has lost its voice today. Peter, like Sonny and Steve, has been a major inspiration for me, and is what made me try to do voiceover work myself. So losing him really hits personally. Rest easy, big guy.

I feel bad for the authors who were like "oh my book's gonna get turned into a Nicktoon, my book series will become the talk of the schools!" only to have their show pushed off to Nicktoons Network to live the rest of its days being obscure and not remembered fondly

name a movie that flopped at the box office but is actually great Gotta go with The Shawshank Redemption. When Columbia dropped it in cinemas it flopped, but when WB released it on home video it blew up, and for very good reason too it's up there with some of the best book-to-movie adaptations tbh
