Because it's one of few remaining American studio shows, let alone those aimed at kids, that doesn't just have total artistic freedom but outright embraces it. It's practically an oasis for that sort of talent.

Right now, what I'm thinking emphasizes getting sponsors involved, having small paywalls for full access (or possibly just full quality; pilots and small peeks would be free and crossposted to entice people), and in general cutting out the Patreon middleman in terms of direct viewer support.

Con season has definitely become the period of each year where just enough faith in animation manages to be regained to keep a guy's spirits up. It helps when multiple hyped projects ALSO just so happen to release around that same time.

I feel like TADC should've been that one thing that instantly changed the entire industry for the better. But it's impact seems to be isolated to propping up GLITCH as a studio and channel - which don't get me wrong, is still really great. But it does make one reflect on the state of things.
