What do you do when you lack motivation to photograph? Like, I’m not short on inspiration. I have plenty ideas I think would be cool. But I’ve just had no drive recently to want to actually work on those ideas.

It’s been a weird winter in Wisconsin. Almost no snow. We did get a sprinkling yesterday but then it melted right away. Here’s a throw back to December 2023 when we had a nice little snowstorm. 🎞️ Portra 160 📸 Nikon N80 #35mmfilm #filmphotography #believeinfilm

Life has been really hectic the last few weeks, but one shining light is our home inspection passed with no major issues 🎉 That was the last major hurdle to purchasing the duplex we’ve been renting for the last 6 years!

Why don’t we have any big budget movies of aliens vs. dinosaurs? Like I’d love to see Predator going up against a T-Rex or something

Can anyone explain how eliminating the Dept of Ed might affect all of us student loan borrowers? I’m 2 years away from qualifying for Public Service Loan Forgiveness & watching this possibly disappear in front of my eyes is causing me so much anxiety.

We went to the cat shelter today to just look at and pet kitties. I thought it would be something fun and lighthearted. I ended up breaking down sobbing in the middle of the shelter. I guess I’m not ready to adopt another kitty yet :(

What are your photography goals for 2025? Mine are: - to shoot more with my Polaroid SX-70 - finally try out my Holga I’ve had for far too long but haven’t gotten a chance to try yet - shot more 4x5 which sadly had to take a backseat in 2024 as life got chaotic

Hello Bluesky! I’m Danielle, aka GirlWithTooManyCameras. I’m a photographer in Wisconsin. I shoot film and digital, from 4x5 sheet film and glass plates all the way up to 35mm. I love capturing the beauty of the world around me and would love to connect with other likeminded photographers.
