My fever dream is that we should literally have planned communities/cities that can be built on federally owned land along highways. Let people work to live, let people learn how trades are done in the US by doing them in a city they build from the ground up and then get to live in.

There it is, the most powerful new player in the last decade goes away. This ban just brings us closer to a duopoly on the social internet. Bluesky, Twitter, Snapchat, and others hold on to their tiny market shares as independent companies for now. Capitalism working as intended.

My surgery this week went very well and I’m back on my feet and able to live my life for the first time in months. A week ago I could barely stand for 5 minutes unsupported, today I walked nearly two miles, even though it was only 30 degrees. Life is looking up 🥰

absolute mahem done. Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming merged. ND, SD, NE merged. Indiana and Ohio both abolished in lieu of 'Erie' which includes Detroit, Toledo, Cleveland, and Akron - as well as 'Shawnee' which includes Indianapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville, Dayton, and Fort Wayne. Chicago is its own state and stretches around Lake Michigan to include Milwaukee and South Bend. Illinois takes the remainder of Indiana.

California is divided, admittedly half-hazardly, into Redwood, Bay Area, California, LA, and SoCal. I am open to critique on California as long as it doesn't stay one state.
