I consider Alien to be a near perfect movie, but something just dawned on me. The face hugger melts through Kane’s helmet, attaches to his face, and feeds him oxygen to keep him alive. They’re currently in a primordial atmosphere, so the facehugger knows what atmosphere humans breathe?
