It was just one of those days, next game normal service was resumed. A few weeks later Chelsea got a walloping at home and got roundly booed. Ken Bates mentioned the differing crowd reaction in his next match day programme notes. At the same time I appreciate yesterday WAS normal service.

I've never booed my team kn over 50 years of going to football, my opinion is I'm not doing my job if I do that abd show my discontent my not clapping at full time. I remember United getting beat 3-0 at home by Chelsea, the players had put a shift in and half of the ground stayed to cheer them off.
