My thoughts exactly, Sane. When I was in the hospital for induction chemo in October, I didn't watch news at all, and think I'll do that again. It allowed me to focus on whatever was positive in my world, the leaves changing colors outside my window, kind nurses, healing. 💝

Returning to University of Michigan Hospital in a few days to undergo "intensive chemotherapy", then a Bone Marrow Transplant. I have an aggressive form of Leukemia (AML)with the FLT-3 mutation, which puts me at high risk of the cancer returning. Me with news rn...can't watch.

Hi, friends. I haven't posted in a while, dealing with leukemia and reaction to chemo. Was at U of M hospital for 5 days in Dec for chemo, but I had a horrible reaction to it. My skin broke out with an itchy rash everywhere and I was miserable! Bone marrow transplant is planned for end of January.

Hi, Sane! I've just been dealing with the side effects of chemo: being tired all the time, nausea, itching, and headaches. The itching was a reaction to the last chemo I received in December. Head to toe, intense itchiness. The good news is

After a week of chemo 24/7, I was sporting red dots head to toe, (petichial hemorrhaging), bruises appearing out of nowhere, nausea and my headaches decided to mess with my peace. Now my hair is almost gone. F*ck cancer, throat punch leukemia 🤬

I'm home! Just completed the "induction" phase of my Leukemia treatment. I did every single thing they asked me to do. Thank God I was given a positive spirit to deal with it all, and make good choices while in the hospital. I was able to walk right up the steps at home.

Still in the Hospital being treated for Leukemia. It's rough, not gonna lie, but the Nurses and Doctors have all been great! Bone marrow biopsy done yesterday, and will take a few more days for results. That will determine: wether more chemo is needed, or if I'm going home to get outpatient care.

I'm at the U of Michigan Hospital. I will have 3 weeks of chemotherapy here, and have to come back later for 2 more months of treatment. The doctors and nurses are very good and kind. I'm in the best hospital in Michigan.
