Yeah. I meant Borough Hall. They had their own subway stop too in Brooklyn. The fog confused me. I used to get off at Court Street to go to the Arabic restaurants and grocery stores on Atlantic Ave.

The fence. Big lifer MSgt goes running down a hard packed trail when they just spotted an NVA flag nearby. Not scared of any gooks he said. Shot through the head and the NVA were on a ridge above them in a trench blazing away. Never recovered his body and they ended up using NVA weapons and stacking

Hills 861 and 881 saw more direct fire action than anyone at the actual base. They were strategic and a lot of good Marines were lost keeping the NVA from taking them over. Never take a trail. First big SOG gunfight with Lynne Black involved looking for an NVA regimental HQ on the other side of
