iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Since April or so, Instagram has been creating automated AI descriptions of reels.. and they add “sources” for the “information” and the sources are 100% unrelated bullshit. I shamed their AI for it and it claimed they removed the sources.. but I am not so sure.

I don't know where comics come from, but I like them when they show up.

Today is 22 years with Jess! And 20 years with the “disposable” CVS video camera I bought and jail broke.

Tom DesLongchamp @tomthinks.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

this is very bad news for me. I've used Adobe Flash/Animate for 26 years. I use it NOW for Cartoon Mess LIVE. I'm ok with support ending, but I need the ability to install this software in the future, and stupid Creative Cloud will most likely not allow access to installers past support ending. 🤬

Call me crazy, but I started a (free) substack and my first real post is about how I made a "friend map" to help overcome fears and forgetfulness that prevent me from reaching out to friends. substack.com/home/post/p-... #substack #friendmap #writing

A really fun thing that people might not know about me is that I designed, perform and voice the Twitch Fairy Modmother--Twitch's benevolent cartoon fairy who watches over moderators. Here's some photos from their appearance yesterday talking to CEO Dan Clancy at TwitchCon Rotterdam 2025!

Seattle! I’m showing over 30 new plywood cutout paintings at The Factory in Seattle this week! April 10th 6-10pm (Capitol Hill Artwalk). My show is called Good Boy Graffiti, because I have been using this medium as a way to share my art on the street without damaging property. This will be fun!
