In 2024, Reform got c.4m votes, only as many as Ukip got in 2015, 14.3%/12.7%. 5 MPs/1 MP. Tories got 6.6m, 121 MPs. The Libdems got 3.5 votes, and 71 MPs. Reform will never win a general election in FPTP. The polls and media overhype them.

Seems to me that, whereas the Industrial Revolution decimated the livelihoods of individuals and families, then created new jobs that provided mass employment, the AI Revolution will do the former but not the latter.

Stalin ruthlessly oversaw the indiscriminate murders of c.20m people over 30 years. Hitler oversaw almost the same number over 12, most within 4 years. He also deliberately attempted to eradicate a whole people. WW2 was a war between the good, bad and ugly and an absolute evil.

Remembering October 7th, three years on.

Today marks 3 years since the devastating Hamas attacks on October 7th. It is hard to put into words how much has been lost since that day.

Today we mourn with everyone that is grieving, and stand with the many people whose lives were shattered, never to be the same again.

Tomorrow, we will rededicate ourselves to our mission: to support a political resolution to the conflict so Israelis and Palestinians can live in freedom, dignity and security, and never again experience the horrors of the last three years.

May the memory of all the lives lost be a blessing.
