A huge milestone: Argentina creates Patagonia Azul Provincial Park! This immense coastal-marine area of 729,000 acres is roughly the size of Yosemite National Park in the US and is Chubut province’s first marine provincial park. A win for #biodiversity and #conservation!

With so much variety, the fungi in Patagonia are fascinating to explore during the autumn season🍄 Fungi play an essential role in the ecosystem as decomposers and as food for different species, like this huemul deer from Cerro Castillo National Park! #wildlife 📷: Rody Álvarez, Dinelly Soto
