Perhaps, though not necessarily always. But I think more of it is my mind. When some people reach a certain level of friendship or closeness with me, then my mind just turns off the interest for him. It just feels wrong to have dirty thoughts about them at that stage.

For me, I think I naturally tend to keep the two circle of friends separate... regular friends stay regular friends, FWB same. Doesn't mean that FWBs cannot have more deeper interactions than sex, but I just lose sex interest in people when they're past a certain threshold for me
