Those that tract maritime traffic say different. Estimates are 60% to 80% of pre-war figure and that a fraction of that is headed to US refineries. Most of it is headed to China, India and Indonesia. Don't rely on US military reports concerning oil shipments.

In a normal world abatements are given by locals to encourage economic development, spur real estate construction, and revitalize distressed communities. I can't see how data centers accomplish this. They depress development, and increase the stress already on the communities.

My thoughts. McCarthy lost the Leaders Chair negotiating with the opposing party trying to keep from shutting down the government. It wouldn't take much given Jeffries growing dislike within the party

I see a scenario as happened to McMarthy in '23 losing the Speakers chair after working with opposing party to avert government shutdown. Jeffries should divulge those communications with Kushner. I believe those around him see it that way and will want to protect their own futures
