100% agree that it’s not a mass movement. But the MAHA Caucus is an actual formal caucus of legislators in both the House and Senate. Meeting with the leaders of formal legislative caucuses is not akin to meeting with Alex Jones, J6ers, or QAnon.

I’m a lefty liberal, but comparing congresional MAHA members to J6ers/QAnon/Alex Jones seems like a stretch. I want my Democratic leadership meeting with actual policymakers to influence and mold health policy. Pretending that MAHA doesn’t exist isn’t helpful.

I read it the opposite way; the business side understands that they have to invest on the baseball side to draw the 3 million. Their interests and incentives are aligned. It’s not surprising, but I was comforted by Lin’s piece.

Thank you Brian for holding these people accountable. An additional note - when the Obama Administration bailed out the auto industry in 2009, they immediately sold those shares back to the market once Chrysler & GM stabilized. Clearly they didn't want gov't takeover of private industry.

Baseball is a stupid game. But it’s also the best game! Blue Jays and Padre are very similar in that their stars haven’t played like stars this season, hence the poor team results. Hard to blame either GM, in my opinion.

Absolutely blame to go around to almost everyone involved, including voters. But the reality is the system worked, he's stepped down, because in the Democratic Party we won't stand for this kind of behavior. The focus should be on that positive, IMO.
