My N collection is complete! Got the last full art N I wanted for the personal collection - N from Noble Victories 🥰

waking up at the ass crack of dawn to do inventory might actually be the worst part of being a store manager. I'm so tired 🫠

The pipeline for me becoming a video game developer was kinda crazy and it's honestly a really cute story so I wanted to share this one 😅 Revisiting some old memories hurt sometimes but it's also a good reminder for me to never forget where I came from, which is just as important to me.

Haven't solved the emotional woes part but 2 hours later, we hit ultra ball league. Just a few more ranks away from master ball league with ONLY Hide N Sneak. I've only done "Road to Arceus with ONLY [insert niche deck]" one other time - with Future Box awhile back.

Saw someone do this on my timeline and it inspired my own. I love revisiting old formats and more so recently, I've just been revisiting old memories. Alt text for the context behind these cards that made me the player I am today

Comfey: LZB is my favorite deck archetype of all time. There was so much skill expression involved and it made me the sequencing demon I am today

Gardevoir ex: similar story to LZB. Made me the sequencing demon I am today. Topped many local events with it. First time I ran the same 60 with a local friend. We ended up snagging the first and second slots of that tournament. Core ptcgo memory of mine and a very cherished one.

Iron Crown ex: a really weird one to have here but for some time, I was very high on future box and discovered the most broken build for it. Someone that I cared a lot about at the time encouraged me to take it to NAIC. I look back fondly on this deck bc I associate a lot of my favorite memories with her bc of this deck and card. She encouraged me to play my best and encouraged me to try it in online tournaments and I did fairly well with it locally and online!

Ethan's Typhlosion: Deck was slept on for a long time and myself and the aforementioned person above were both determined to discover the most broken build. We did 🤭 Deck is good and I was a Typhlosion demon at locals.

Ray/Deoxys Legend: OG iron hands. This card was crazy back in the day and the first retro deck I built that got me to learn more about yh history of the game. Met a cool retro enthusiast through this card as well :)

Yveltal: Yveltal from 25th celebrations was a notorious card. This card was also in my favorite control deck of all time, which I played for a very long time as well. I loved terrorizing locals with Yveltal/Mewtwo VUnion control. Miss that deck dearly

Garbodor: Can't mention control without mentioning Garbotoxin. Great card & my foray into GLC!

Dragapult ex: I know, asa gsrdy enjoyer this ferls like sacrilege but I truly love this deck.Brought it to my second ever NAIC when the card came out because I was believer. Love the deck ti this day

Irida: CPAO is a beloved deck of mine. So was Palk/Intel. I love decks that rewar sequencing & irida was in those

Wrote some more diary entries today. These are gonna stay private but it feels nice to just be able to say everything I want to say without actually saying it to them. There's so much I want to say to her but I like to think writing diary entries is putting it out into the universe in a way.

I gotta start writing diary-esque entries more. This was cathartic and a good reminder to myself.

I feel like a huge weight was lifted off of my shoulders this weekend. Nothing particularly crazy happened and I'm not really that stressed out these days.

This weekend, I just finally accepted some feelings I kept denying for 10 months. I had thought I moved on and I kept trying to convince myself I did. I started to try to talk to other people but at the end of the day, nobody clicked like they did, and I think that's fine.

I made a mistake trying to rush my healing process and I take solace in the fact that it's okay to be hung up on someone. It took me awhile to move past my first before I was ready to let someone in again.

For now, instead of denying how I feel, I'll accept how I feel and understand that some things just don't always go my way. I'll keep moving forward in the hopes that maybe one day, we can rekindle something greater. Until then, I be shuffling some cardboard and focusing on my career. I have so much going for me. Everything in my professional life had worked out this far. One day, maybe my personal life will follow and I'll feel truly fulfilled.

I played against a Hydrapple today with the 👻⚓ and I found this insane line where I punched their teal mask for 170. They benched an applin passed. I evolved into Sinistcha, patch onto Dhelmise, Matcha Spin to put 40 on everything, took 3 prizes to go down to 1 AND essentially setup checkmate.

I've been waiting for this album for awhile and it's exactly what I'd hope it'd be. It's the sounds of longing, heartbreak and falling in love all in one album. All of the things I've been feeling lately. It's a beautiful mix of ambivalence. This came out at just the right time in my life

I think about my NAIC 2026 list a lot. Specifically, I think about how I played Cape + Mega Lopunny in my Zoroark build just in case I ran into a Crustle, proceeded to run into Crustle and 2-1'd it in a reverse sweep set cuz I'm him.

My dad wanted to get my mom a sweater that says "Penn mom" on it because I got my dad a hat that said "Penn Dad". Even though I'm not on speaking terms with my mom, it does feel good that both of them are proud Ivy League parents and that they're proud of me. It wasn't always like that growing up.

Easily my favorite anime this season. I'm a sucker for slice of life with a romance subtext and this hit the spot. Refreshing that it's about working adults and they're like, not explicitly in love. They just really care about each other's wellbeing. Great watch
