My Nana Sophie’s favorite movie star was John Boles. He absolutely held a fascination for moviegoers of that era – one that really doesn’t hold up a century later. I wish they had shown ‘Only Yesterday.’ He’s still doing shallow and insincere, but he’s also got a little sexual energy. 🤷‍♂️ #TCMParty

Sleeping with window slightly open. I’ve heard of the concept, but never had a chance to try it. 😉😅 We did indeed get sandbags, and as we learned after Hilary, sandbags dry and can be used again. After a few months, they disintegrate, but we’re definitely keeping them around for this El Niño winter.
