No, you’re wrong, the good people of every state should make plans to vote in the manner and place determined by their state, as the constitution states. The Federal Government has no authority to dictate how the states conduct their elections.

I believe that presidents generally get more credit and more blame for the economy in general and especially for gas prices than they deserve. In this case however, Trump deserves 100% of the blame. He created the problem with his tragic war, his tariffs, and other failures.

I didn’t say anything about “trusting that everything will be done properly “. You look at the system in your state and make sure it’s done properly. I lived in Oregon for many years, the mail in voting was done properly, it was as secure as in place voting.

It’s good they dropped it, but really, this case was never going to trial. Can you imagine the prosecutor trying to explain to a juryhow the pool was vandalized by him reaching his hand into the water and the fun the defense would have had turning the case into a laughingstock?

I spent most of the 2021 summer on a WDNR Air Attack airplane out of Deer Park, and over 30 seasons as ATGS in the NW. You’re right on about the air attack. Even more critical, considering the amount of fixed wing traffic is the Lead Plane, and the coordination between the two.

I’m not blind to the threats, or to the fact that we need to be vigilant. Of course all ballots, whether in person or mailed in are handled by election workers. If election fraud were to happen that is the most likely place, not in the mailing process.

If it’s mailed in it could conceivably be stolen and destroyed by a postal employee. There is no way it could be altered and turned in as a vote. If it dropped off in a secure location, it’s as secure as a polling place.

I might watch soccer again if they ever figure out that you can actually pause the game clock when play stops rather than keeping it running, and then adding some mysterious, secret amount of stoppage time at the end, that lets the referee end the game whenever he feels like it.
