Not like Berkshire, who has had the same amount of shares of Coca-Cola for decades 😅 www.midgardfinance.com/research/ber... It did not turn into the first domino brick of many to fall. But lots of leverage out there 😬

Just following orders from the Kremlin to distance himself from allies. Putting 50% tariffs on hockey sticks will make the Canadian economy crumble. Attached treemap of Canadian exports. The axis between Washington, Moscow and Caracas is strong 💪

I think $DPZ got punished too much. They left it in the oven to roast for too long 🍕 I'll buy it, if I should be so lucky to get it for $250. Will probably not happen.

$UNH is not a bad choice at all. A bit tricky to predict the future 🔮

I agree one should avoid Diageo for a portfolio focused on growth. But not because the stock price has fallen.

Novo Nordisk can't really report any more bad news. They might even raise their outlook. Prescription data showing Wegovy pill being a smash hit in the US. UK launch this week. Pipeline is not empty. Lilly's ph3 Retatrutide might be king of weight loss, but tolerability low. Just my two cents.

I just woke up and had to read it three times before it registered 😅 Why didn't he sell them last year? 🤷 Coloplast has not yet reached historically low multiples. Still 50% to go to achieve that 📉 New CEO incoming!

I don't know exactly how it will play out, but it will not continue like this.

I think the process of separation and reliance sped up, when the US abandoned Ukraine and threatened to invade Greenland. I think the relationship will be peaceful in the decades to come, but I'm still sad about an 80 year old friendship having ended so abruptly. ecfr.eu/publication/...

Are polls available showing public opinion about the US in Japan? 🇯🇵🇺🇸 I've only seen this one showing many European countries thinking of the US more as an adversary than an ally 🇪🇺🇨🇭🇬🇧🇬🇱 ecfr.eu/publication/... I hope a new US president is able to repair broken relationships, but I have my doubts.
Line chart grid titled "Generally speaking, thinking about United States, which of the following best reflects your view on who they are to the EU?" showing 2024-2026 trends in percent across 12 European countries. Five categories are tracked: Ally (dark blue), Partner (light blue), Rival (light red), Adversary (dark red), and Don't know (grey).

Each country has its own small panel. The dominant pattern across nearly all countries is that "Partner" is the most common view (typically 45-65%), while "Ally" sentiment declines over the period and "Adversary" sentiment rises.

Country-by-country:

Estonia: Partner rises to ~65%. Ally drops sharply from ~30% to ~10%.

UK: Partner rises to ~55%. Ally falls steeply from ~38% to ~20%.

Denmark: Partner steady around 55%. Ally drops from ~30% to under 10%, while Adversary climbs to ~22%, crossing above Ally.

Portugal: Partner steady around 53%. Ally declines modestly; Rival and Adversary low but rising.

Poland: Partner rises to ~52%. Ally fairly steady around 30%. Adversary low.

Hungary: Partner steady around 48%. Ally falls from ~28% to ~18%.

Germany: Partner rises to ~50%. Ally drops from ~20% to ~10%, while Rival and Adversary rise to ~15%.

Italy: Partner steady around 48%. Ally falls from ~20% to ~10%; Rival rises to ~18%.

Bulgaria: Partner steady around 47%. Don't know relatively high but declining. Adversary rises slightly.

Spain: Partner falls from ~57% to ~42%. Adversary rises sharply from ~5% to ~23%.

France: Partner steady around 45%. Rival rises to ~28%; Adversary rises to ~17%, both overtaking Ally.

Switzerland: Partner falls from ~52% to ~37%. Adversary and Rival both rise to ~20%.

Note: In the UK and Switzerland, the question concerned the US relationship with the respondent's own country, not the EU.
