Exactly. He should know by now what his QB is and isn't. Daniels is slow to pull the trigger. Not to mention they had been running well to that point. Bid wanting something tricky the shuttle play they used later or a fake toss like they used multiple times last week would have been good.

Yeah, I just don't know if DCs are free to adjust if the HC demands certain things. After that Jacksonville State game FSU rarely gets beat deep, but at what cost? Fuller's defense stayed in a two high shell even when getting gashed by the run. Now we see something similar.

Tony was stupid for taking the job. I didn't think he was great, but if he stayed at Nebraska his defense there would be this bad. Ah well, guess he learned grass isn't always greener. Hopefully the new HC hire a smart aggressive DC who can also help recruit like crazy.

I want urgency, but there is only so much he can do. I also did not like when Bobby Cox, as great as he was, would deviate from what for them wins in the regular season once they got to the post season.
