Sarwar enters Labour Conference with Starmer’s shadow looming
ANAS Sarwar will take the stage at the Scottish Labour Conference later today, aiming to reinvigorate a party trailing in the polls and healing from top-brass infighting. He infamously called on the Prime Minister to resign earlier this month in the wake of the Peter Mandelson scandal. If he had hoped to be the first to deal a lethal blow, he instead ended the day in ridicule as cabinet members rallied around Keir Starmer.
