The Temple of Night is nestled between a series of mountain peaks in the Epicouatl Mountains. It is not marked on any map, and no path leads to it. Those who find it are either invited by one of its shadowy members, or called there by a dark power.

The Moonglade is home to ancient wonders, many of which have been lost to time. This crumbling Ziggurat may have stood for thousands of years before its inhabitants laid claim to it. Perhaps the group were always zealous or perhaps the fey-touched presence within the temple influenced their minds.

This nameless temple is built among the ruined remains of what was clearly once a much larger religious complex. It has few visitors seeking a place of worship. More commonly it is frequented by travellers journeying through the forest as a welcome stopping point.

The Farravettre Temple gazes over the fjords and jagged cliffs toward the open sea. Vessels passing through waterways anchor nearby and make offerings before continuing their voyage. A ritual sacrifice, typically a small land animal, is believed to placate the sea spirits, ensuring safe passage.

Rather than being dedicated to any specific named deity, the acolytes of this temple worship the Sun as a God itself and give thanks for the warmth and light it bestows upon the world. This worship is primarily carried out through simple tasks, such as meditation, gardening and sunbathing.

This roadside paddock looks identical to dozens of others, especially when filled with cattle. However, those with a more perceptive gaze might notice one or two oddities. Deep in the cave is a sealed temple and hidden shrine, dedicated to a deity whose worship has been outlawed in the region.

The Temple of Protection sits in the lower market district of the city, standing out as one of the few stone buildings among predominantly timber constructions. Similar Temples have become fairly common in the poorer areas of large cities, each built by the same sect of worshippers.

Finras Nightbeam had always dreamed of owning his own tavern. A lively spot where folk could convene and make merry late into the night. He chose to build his Tavern right in the middle of the waterway. What started as a single pontoon has grown into sprawling collection of rafts and buildings.

Jealous of their larger Orc brethren, the Goblins of Clan Snakerot have fashioned their own ‘stronghold’ of sorts in the mountainside. To make sure they can really rub in their superiority over Clan Vargash, they have even been breeding Worgs en-masse in a pit that the creatures are outgrowing.

most of my map creation is done via DungeonDraft and the Universal Battlemap Importer. the basic assets in dungeondraft are enough, though if you follow certain creators on Patreon (I like @tomcartos.bsky.social quite a bit) you can get higher-quality assets.

Sarrios Bay is a beloved destination for tourists. The terrain of the Epicoatl foothills and view over the bay makes for a breathtaking vista. It is close enough to Dorran for the elite to regularly travel to their weekend homes, and the major trade routes means there is no shortage of visitors.

The Ryokan is an ideal stop for travellers on their journey. Although simple in its furnishing and appearance, a comfortable, quiet night is all but guaranteed. So much so that families are known to frequent them to avoid the inns and taverns favoured by adventuring parties and less savoury folks.

The Snowed Inn was built around a network of natural thermal pools, high up among the Sundered Peaks. It is run by Chena Mývatn. Her small stature and quiet nature bely an iron spirit. She knows many secrets about her guests, but it is her ability to protect those secrets that ensures its prosperity
