Happy Emily St. John Mandel book release day to all who celebrate.

I hope that James Comey, Letitia James, Jerome Powell and others are putting together their applications for payment from the "weaponization" fund.

To Pete Hegseth's credit, almost nobody is talking any more about the fact that he killed about 150 foreign nationals in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific who posed ZERO threat to the United States.

Sad but exciting day. Today is the final day of the regular season for most of women's college basketball but there is a great lineup of games. Duke at North Carolina. Texas at Alabama. Vandy at Tennessee. South Carolina at Kentucky. And my beloved Louisville Cardinals hosting dangerous Notre Dame.

#4 Texas vs. #5 Vanderbilt on a Thursday night and it's just on streaming. Do better, ESPN.

Number of shootings by immigration agents during the current administration: at least 27, including 8 deaths. Number of immigration agents killed by "domestic terrorist" protesters during the current administration: 0.

Anyone who reads Trump's screed earlier about the murder in Minneapolis this morning and still believes that he's competent to serve as President can just fuck off.

Tom Roma @tomatolawyer.bsky.social · 24/01/2026

Let me get this straight. According to the WH, the guy was a heavily armed terrorist intending to massacre federal agents. Sooooo the appropriate response, rather than taking cover and demanding that he disarm, was to walk up to him and push him down????

Tom Roma @tomatolawyer.bsky.social · 04/01/2026

I keep hearing Rubio justify the invasion of Venezuela as simply an operation to arrest an alleged criminal. I assume, therefore, that he would have no problem with another country arresting Netanyahu. Is that how this works now?

Tom Roma @tomatolawyer.bsky.social · 11/12/2025

No, Donald. The Supreme Court can't indict Letitia James for you.
