TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I wanted to post a play-by-play narrative battle report of how the game(s) went but I got so into it I completely forgot! Maybe next time I can try something like that later on but for now I'm incredibly happy that I know for a fact that I love miniature wargaming! 020
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 08/10/2026After collecting, assembling and painting miniatures for quite some time, I finally got around to having a playtest game of One Page Rules (Grimdark Future Firefight)! And now I can say without any reservations that I am VERY much enjoying this aspect of the hobby as well! 142

TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 29/09/2026In the Old World, it's Vampire Counts. While @furlockodonnell.bsky.social loves werewolves, I've always liked vampires more, and mass undead army theme was always super cool to me. In 40k, it's a but harder, but it's a close toss up between the Necrons and Adeptus Mechanicus. 220
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 29/09/2026For this TMITUESDAY I shall further indulge in my miniature wargaming hyperfixation! Throw some questions my way about anything hobby related so I can keep my motivation up to finish painting my collection! 153

TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Overall, though, I had a blast assembling and paiting them! And I look forward to expanding my collection and maybe even playing a game or two with them! I've learned a lot since I started painting and I'm excited to do more! 110
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Out of all of them, this big guy gave me the most trouble. Partly because of a mistake I made assembling him, leaving his drill tip touching the table (hence the bit of cardboard glued under his base) and partly because my white primer suddenly stopped spraying, frustrating me a bit. 130
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 27/09/2026My rat squad is now fully painted!! I'm super happy with how they came together and I look forward to trying out making an army list with them (using One Page Rules of anyone is wondering). 1103

TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 19/09/2026After 2 days and about 3 hours, I finished painting my first character model. TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Most importantly, they made human flesh toxic to Garou, so eating humans became deadly. Upon realizing all this and suffering many losses against humanity's first hunters, the Garou stopped their efforts and began focusing on the true threats to the world. 100
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Where my lore changes things is that, at some point, some powerful spirits took pity on humanity and gave them means to defend themselves. They gave humans the secret of silver being lethal to werewolves and gave humans courage in the light, diminishing the effects of the Delirium during daytime. 100
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 01/09/2026This is known in the lore as the Impergium, and left a permanent mental scar on humanity, giving them an instinctual fear of the dark and wolves and also creating the Delirium, making most humans who see a Garou in its war-form go into a panic and barely remember afterwards. This is the normal canon 110
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Around the time humanity harnessed fire and learned to make tools, the Garou (werewolves) decided that they needed to keep their numbers in check. While some refused to participate or actively sabotage the efforts, the majority of the Garou set about culling human populations when they grew too big 110
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Where shall I start? Cause either will probably take more than one post and contain a lot words that need defining XD 100
TomaTanuki @tomatanuki.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Here are two bullet points for now! If you want more details, ask and receive! -The werewolves trying to cull humanity still happened, but resulted in the werewolves gaining their weaknesses. -Werewolves still tried to kill all other shifters, but were far less successful than in the game's canon 100
