500 lat Mazowsza w Polsce! Kilka dni temu obchodziliśmy wyjątkowy jubileusz – 500. rocznicę inkorporacji Mazowsza do Korony Królestwa Polskiego. Po prawdopodobnie otruciu ostatnich książąt mazowieckich z dynastii Piastów Mazowsze zostało ostatecznie włączone w granice Królestwa Polskiego.

Jutro mija 500 lat bitwy pod Mohaczem, w której potężna armia osmańska rozgromiła wojska węgierskie. Wydarzenie to położyło kres trwającemu 36 lat okresowi potężnej czesko-węgierskiej unii Jagiellonów. Klęska ta przekształciła geopolityczną mapę kontynentu na rzecz rosnących w siłę Habsburgów.
